This award-winning project examines an existing area of redevelopment potential in the City of New Westminster. The area is a mix of stable emerging uses, existing historical uses, and unstable deteriorating uses. MVH crafted detailed policies and design guidelines with accompanying visuals that sets the stage for the next generation of mixed development.

The Twelfth Street Area Plan was recognized by the Planning Institute of British Columbia with the Award of Excellence for its innovation in urban redevelopment and policy.
