MVH is working with District Development Corporation to develop a comprehensive and compact residential community in Parksville. One of the last large development parcels in the City of Parksville, the Englishman River lands already is bisected by regional trails, flood-prone areas, and the remanent of previous gravel removal. A strategic Blue and Green Cluster Development Plan was developed to be flood and climate resilient, environmentally sensitive, and compact, preserving the most valuable environmental lands and building on a select series of “islands” and higher ground.
